How'd 2012 Get To Be So Busy?

As you may have noticed, I missed doing blog posts on a few days this past week. First, let me apologize to my dozen or so loyal readers. I've been trying to keep up, but I've been pretty swamped the past few weeks. Frankly, the next two or three weeks look pretty crammed schedule-wise too, so let me apologize in advance for any other days I might miss over the next month.

2012 has been a pretty big year for me so far. I appeared in the third highest-grossing movie of all time, I completed my first marathon, I paid off a mountain of debt left over from my divorce, I've gotten published in some pretty cool (I think) venues, I was instrumental in a high-profile product launch in my day job... I am having a really great year. Which is really saying something because I had a really great 2011 as well!

The "project" I've got going on now is pretty big for me personally, although it's at best only tangentially comic related. And even then, not really. I'm not quite ready to make it public yet (probably in another two or three weeks, but there's a small teaser image at the left) but I felt I ought to say something here as a means of explanation for anyone who does read this regularly and gets concerned if I miss my usual postings.

I will make every attempt to continue blogging daily and, as soon as I'm able, I'll post full details. You can still catch my regular column over at MTV Geek (they pay me, so I am NOT going to miss those deadlines!) and you can catch snippets of thoughts from me over on Twitter or Facebook, if you're really in dire need of what pass for witty Kleefeld-isms.
