  • The Huffington Post has a short piece on Andreas Englund, who created this series of very large paintings of an aging superhero.
  • Neil Cohn looks at the development of drawing abilities in children. Having taught drawing classes myself, I can verify that the biggest hindrance most people have to drawing well is that they let their knowledge of an object get in the way of drawing it. Regardless of the angle or perspective, "Well, it's a cube, so the corners have to be 90 degree angles!" is not an uncommon thought process that would-be artists need to overcome.
