Happy Birthday, David Gallaher!

Today is the birthday of David Gallaher.No, not the New Zealand rugby player who died in World War I, the more recent one who writes funny books. Here's a more recent photo, where our David getting ready to shoot his eye out. (He's the one in the back.)

I recently learned that there was a Dave Gallaher Trophy introduced in 2000 that goes back and forth between New Zealand and France for an ongoing rugby challenge. I can't say which David Gallaher this trophy is named for however; until I hear otherwise, I'll assume it's for the comic book guy.

In any event, happy birthday, Dave!
