The Montgomery Story

It's been over a decade since I posted this, so it's long past time to revisit it, i think. This comic, about Dr. King and his involvement in the Montgomery Story, was most likely published in late 1957, not long after the incident it covers. Ostensibly, it was this comic that got the late Congressmen John Lewis inspired to join the Civil Rights Movement. The Golden Legacy issue on King is probably more well-known and Ho Che Anderson's comic biography is more comprehensive, but this is, I believe, the first comic that chronicles the life and work of Dr. King.
